The lovely Ruby Bastille nominated me for a Sunshine Award!
Rules for the Sunshine Award:
If you are nominated you must include the link in a blog, linking to the person/blog that nominated you. You must answer some questions, nominate 10 fellow bloggers, and link to their blogs in your post. Let the people you have nominated know that you have nominated them!
1. Who is your favorite philosopher?
Um… Nicolas Flamel? I haven’t studied many philosophers. I’m more a theologian kind of girl. I remember sort of liking John Locke in the one political science class I took.
2. What is your favorite number?
7. Original, I know, but how can you argue with God’s favorite number? :)
3. What is your favorite animal?
4. What are your Facebook and Twitter URLs?
My Twitter can be found here, but Facebook is only for people I actually know.
5. What is your favorite time of day?
It depends on the day, but lunchtime is a consistent favorite.
6. What was your favorite vacation?
As much as I loved my trip to NYC last summer, I think my favorite vacation was the ten days I spent in Southern California in 2007. The first part of it was a (very cushy) business trip, but then my mom flew out to join me in L.A. and we did touristy things. I absolutely loved the area and felt at home there. After that trip, I thought about California every day for about a year.
7. What is your favorite physical activity?
Dancing. After almost a year of no dance classes, I’ve started doing Zumba again out of desperation.
After further thought, I have to change this answer to yoga. I’ve been doing yoga at least weekly for five years, and I don’t know how I got by without it! I guess I was one big knot all the time.
8. What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink?
McAlister’s iced tea.
9. What is your favorite flower?
Lilies. (Sadly, they’re super poisonous to cats, so I can’t have them in the house.) Other favorites: hydrangeas, roses, peonies, lily of the valley.
10. What is your passion?
I have too many passions for one person. But a big one is to write and share my experiences, and by doing so, encourage others and help them feel less alone.
