♥ I grew sprouts in a jar using these simple instructions – thanks, Jamie! I used a Mason jar that I already had, and bought a strainer jar lid and sprout seeds for a total of $6 at Whole Foods. One week later: sprouts! Seriously, you can almost watch them growing. I had some last night on a sandwich. Delicious and cheap.

♥ I think my gardenia might be dead or dying. Can someone diagnose it? Is there any hope?

My garden is having problems of its own, but doesn’t yellowing leaves mean too much water?? Someone with more experience may know better.

I never heard of growing your own sprouts (though it makes sense!) … hmmmm.

Gorgeous roses, by the way. :)

  2. Lovely roses! I love the color! One of these days I’m going to get brave and plant some myself.

I had NO IDEA sprouts were so easy to grow! OT and I are going to have to do this. I love sprouts on salads and sandwiches! Thanks for the link!

  3. Danielle, Knock Out roses are SO EASY. My other two rosebushes are a fancier kind and don’t produce as well, but the Knock Out blooms all spring and summer with hardly any upkeep at all. They’re not very expensive, either!
